ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! My name is Emily, and I really love reading books. In fact, it's just about all I do these days. I only got back into reading around the end of 2022 after years of not even picking up a book - including throughout my school years. I was a sparknotes and tv girl from high school on. It wasn't always that way though. I remember devouring the Twilight books and making it being my entire personality in middle school (if you knew me back then... I'm sorry). But eventually, life changed and I stopped reading altogether.

Along with hundreds of other people in the reading community, I owe the restart of my reading journey to Sarah J. Mass and the ACOTAR series. I moved to LA completely alone after years of living in Downtown Denver, building a lot of very...unhealthy habits. Moving to Santa Monica and taking a look at my life created a desire to reinvent myself and build healthy hobbies. Cue my mom and sister convincing me to pick up the ACOTAR series, and here we are.
